Wow, I remember this song about 1971, it was a Hug Hit that played on the Radio all the time. It's a truly beutiful song. Well, maybe not, as Lynn ANderson sings of Ups & Downs in Relationships and that things aren't always a Bed of Rose and that in life it RAINS Sometimes, Rain being a metaphor for Bad Times. But Lynn has such a beautiful voice and sounds absolutely Gorgeeous on this record, which is particularly poingant for me as it was popular when I was a young teenage boy of 13 and 14 years of age. They played this song always at our School Dances at Lindberg School in Carlstadt New Jersey. The dances were for 7th and 8th Graders and as any adult knows this is a time of budding love and raging harmones, dancing with all the pretty young girls.
Anyway, I love the song that brings back such fond memories of my teenage years and dasy past.
