August 26, 1970: Duane Allman (RIP) joined Eric Clapton’s Derek & The Dominos sessions in Florida.
After an all-night jam session, Eric Clapton asked Duane Allman if he would attend the Derek & The Dominos sessions only on the condition that he would also play on the album.
This was after Clapton had asked Roy Buchanan (RIP) to join the band. But Roy declined the offer out of loyalty to his band Buch & The Snakestretchers.
This was an amazing performance, especially by the late great Queen Frtontman,
Freddy Mercury. Freddy was a great performer, full of passion, spirit, and energy as we
can see from this great Live Aid Concert at Wemblley Stadium, London 1985.
The Band Rocked, but there's nothing like a great frontman Rock N Roll Singer like Freddy Mercury, Elton John, or Mick Jagger to really get a crowd of 72,000 plus people Rocking and Rolling. Watch the video and Enjoy.
