Mick Jagger Loves Taylor Ham Disco Fries Jersey Diner

MICK JAGGER with a COFFEE

Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones hit the Tick Tock Diner in Clifton before the Stones’ show at MetLife Stadium Thursday night.

According to NorthJersey.com, Mick went for a classic New Jersey breakfast and in so doing, weighed in the Pork Roll/Taylor Ham debate: he told the crowd before the show that he ordered a Taylor Ham, egg, and cheese along with Disco fries.

Keep in mind that Mick could eat anywhere (he’s worth an estimated $300 million), but chose a classic Jersey diner! Employees at the diner told NorthJersey.com that one of the most famous rock and rollers of all time went virtually unnoticed, being described as “quiet and low key.” The Tick Tock Diner is arguably the most famous diner in New Jersey, although a lot of that notoriety came when the manager tried to have one of the owners (his uncle) killed. The plot was foiled and the manager, Georgios Spyropoulos, was sentenced to 8 years in prison in 2014.

Waitress who served the Rolling Stones Taylor ham says no one recognized them. Mick Jagger knows exactly what his New Jersey audience wants to hear. On stage Thursday night at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, the legendary Rolling Stones frontman divulged to the audience that prior to the band’s latest monster Garden State performance, they visited the almost-as-legendary Tick Tock Diner in Clifton Thursday morning.

The Rolling Stones' lead singer told the crowd during Thursday night's concert at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, that the band visited the legendary Tick Tock Diner in nearby Clifton earlier in the day, NJ.com reported.

Jagger said they ate Taylor ham, egg and cheese sandwiches, the website reported.

"So we went to the Tick Tock Diner!" Jagger told the            audience, according to the North Jersey Record. "We had          Taylor ham, egg and cheese! With Disco fries!

And Sloppy Joe to go!"

Goodbye Charlie "We'll Miss You"

Charlie Watts

"Goodbye Charlie"

"You Will Be Missed"

Charlie Watts passsed away on Tuesday, August 24 in a hospital in London, England, he was 80 years old, born in the year 1941 in England. Charlie was and Englishman and the drummer of the Rock Band  The Rolling Stones, joining the band in 1963, and still with the band at his death in August 2021, we guess that's a record for a drummer of a Rock n' Roll Band?

Charlie's music has been with me as a young boy, since the first time I saw The Stones on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1964. I didn't even know who Charlie was at the time. As a young boy in the early 60s I remember loving the music and was sort of mesmerized by Mick Jagger, his singing, style, and performance. I must admit, I hardly noticed Charlie at all but I did appreciate his musci which was part of the band, Charlie's drumming, Keith and Brian Jones on guitars, Bill Wyman on bass, and of course the incomparable singing of Mick Jagger. All the instuments blended together in the music, which of course included Charlie Watts drumming and providing the beat for the band.

Charlie is considered by many to be one of Rock N' Roll's greatest drummers of all time. He is loved by fans, and respected by musicians. Charlie Watts was known as a sweet and gentle gentleman with a dry sensse of humor, and without question Charlie was the by far the best-dressed member of the Rolling Stones, buying most of his hundreds of custom made shirts, Bespoke Suites, Ties, and shoes on London's Sayville Row.

Know, I didn't know who Charlie was at the time, but would start thinking of him and talking about hime after I bought a copy of The Rolling Stones album Get Yer YsYa's Out, a live album, recorded at Madison Square Garden in New York and released in 1970. Besides the bands music there is some good little chatter by Mick Jagger who gets all the girls in the crowd going, when Mick says, "I popped a button on my trousers. You don't want my trousers to fall down now do ya?" Of course all the girls in the crowd screamed "Yessss" !!! Charlie hits his drums, and Mick says, "Cahrlie's fine tonightm sin't he?" I loved that bit of Mick's chatter and have quoted it many times, and any time I see Charlie's image or he comes up in conversation, I always think of Mick saying that about Charlie on Get Yer Ya Ya's Out.

Anyway, I have loved the Rolling Stones and their music, Mick, Cahrlie, Keith, Bill, Brian, Ronnie, and Mick Taylor all these years (about58 so far).

I'd like to thank Charlie for all the great music and the joy it has brought to me over the years, "Thank You Mr. Watts. And may God Bless You." Millions are sad to see you go, but you shall be remembered.

Again, God Bless and Rest in Peace,

Daniel

The MONA LISA

The MONA LISA

"The WORLD'S Most Famous Painting" !!!!

by Leonardo Da Vinci

The Mona Lisa is a half-length portrait painting by Italian artist Leonardo da Vinci. Considered an archetypal masterpiece of the Italian Renaissance, it has been described as "the best known, the most visited, the most written about, the most sung about, the most parodied work of art in the world".

The painting is probably of the Italian noblewoman Lisa Gherardini, the wife of Francesco del Giocondo, and is in oil on a white Lombardy poplar panel. Leonardo never gave the painting to the Giocondo family, and later it is believed he left it in his will to his favored apprentice SalaƬ. It had been believed to have been painted between 1503 and 1506; h

owever, Leonardo may have continued working on it as late as 1517. It was acquired by King Francis I of France and is now the property of the French Republic itself, on permanent display at the Louvre, Paris since 1797.

The Mona Lisa is one of the most valuable paintings in the world. It holds the Guinness World Record for the highest known insurance valuation in history at US$100 million in 1962  (equivalent to $870 million in 2021).
