FINALLY - Another Good Band
Khruangbin. I finally found a band that makes great music in the 21st Century. I really can't beleive it. In a Century (21st) of most Shiity, God Awful music, besides Ce Lo Green and Alicia Keyes, I've finally found some present day music that "Does Not Suck" The name of the band is Khruanbin, a trio from Houston Texas, lead by an awesome guitar player Mark Speer, who also is a vocalist, along with Laura Lee on Bass Guitar and vocals. The band winds up with "DJ" Donald Johnson on Drums (and Keyboard).
The bands music is sicribed as P Rock Funk / Surf Music, and is wonderful, often quite meodic, as if youy're floating on a Magic Carpet Ride. "I just Love it," and it's the only only music of the 21st Century that I like, along with CeeLo Green, Alicia Keyes, Joe Bonnamasso, and Gary Clark Jr., another musician from Texas.
Yes in a Century of the most horrible music in the history (21st Century) of the World, I've found a 5th great musical act that plays good music made in the 21st Century. "Unbeleivable" !!!
