KAREN CARPENTER
The Song GROUPIE written by Leon Russell and Bonnie Bramlett sung by Kren Carpenter and the Carpenters with musical arrangement by Richard Caprpenter, was a hug hit for The Caprenters. The origianl version done by Dleaney and Bonnie featuring Bonnie Bramlett on lead vocals was a sexier rendition of thiis great song. Karen Carpenter Carpenter sings the song with a sadder tone of Lost Love and a Bittersweet Romance. "I Love both versions, as well as a fine version sung by Rita Coolidge.
