"TWO GREAT SONGS ???

Two Great Songs, something it doesn't look like anyone coulds say about any songs of
The 21st Centruy. A Century that has so far, produced the Shittiest Music in the History of The World. Sad but os so True. Anyway enough of that, we're here to talk about Two great Songs. And just two of several thousands of wonderful songs of the 1960, 70s, and 80s. These two great songs are from 1978 and 1983. The songs, JUMP by Van Halen, and "I Will Survive" by one of the Queens of Disco, Miss GLoria Gaynor.

Why write this? Well I got up this morning, I made some Tea and a Bagel with Cream Cheese for Breakfast, and as usual I was listening to the Radio. But unlike my usual mornings when I'm listening to 1010 WINS News Radio in New York and listening to local and World News, I had
CBS FM Radio on and was listening to music when the song "Jump" by Van Halen came on. I got up, and as I always do whenever I hear this song, I turn the volume up loud. For this great song it's an absolute requirement, "you've gotta play it loud," as the late great Robin Willians said in his wonderful part as a Armed Forces Radio Disc Jockey in Saigon, in the movie Good Morning Vietnam. "Just Play It Loud" !!!!

So I turned the volume up, and as always, Enjoyed the song (Jump). Now, I'm not a fan of
Van Halen by any means. I'm a fan of Jump, a great song that can really get you going. It played, and "I Played it Loud," and as always I danced around and sang along to the wonderful song, featuring David Lee Roth and his awesome singing of the song, as Eddie Van Halen plays the Moog Synathesizer and lays down an awesome Guitar Lick as Well. Alex Van Halen does some pretty damn good drumming as well. The music absolutely ROCKS !!!

Without a doubt, when it comes to Rock Music and the greatest Rock Songs of All-Time, along with songs like : Stairway to Heaven (Led Zeppelin), Satisfaction (Rolling Stones), and a few others, I personally put Van Halen's "Jump" in the Top Ten Greatest Rock Songs of all-time. Yes, it's that good. Rolling Stone Magazine has it as # 177 on their List of The 500 Greatest Songs of All-Time (Not Just Rock). VH1 has "Jump" in the # 15 spot, as The Greatest Songs of The 1980s, and on and on. The song Rocks, it's a great song, and that's exactly what I thought as I listented to it for the 50th time in my life again. It ranks as one of the greatests I thought right then and there on Macdougal Street in New York's Greenwich Village. Yeah. Then right after Jump, comes another Great Song.
The song?  "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor, one of several Queens of Disco. The song is absolutely awesome, and considered by many, The Greatest Disco Song of all-time. Yes it is. Though Disco has sort of Died as they say, no not really. Died down, and faded a bit, but still not totally dead as they say. Not with great songs like "I Will Survive." Damn, speaking of Shitty Music dying, why the Hell can't Shitty Crap Rap Hip Hop so-called music die? Why oh why? I don't call it music, I call it Shit. I liked disco music, and it got a bad rap, and it sort of went away. Why the Hell can't Shitty Hip Hop Rap Music Dide? It's Horrible, "It SUCKS" as does so-called Alternative Rock "SUCKS" !!!
Alternative Rock? Alternative to what, Great Rock Music? You make shitty music as an alternative to great music, like the two great songs, we've just talked about, Jump, and Gloria Gaynor's
"I Will Survive"  What the Hell are you gonna do? I can tell you what. Don't listen to the Shit, Hip Hop Rap and shitty Alternative Rap. Thanks to recordings, you can listen to all the great music of the 50s, 60s, 1970s, and even 1980s. Listen to Great Rock, Disco, Pop, Vocals, and R&B of the 60s and 70s, and you'l have a good time. Not a downer, and shitty you will feel lsitening to Shitty Alternative Rock and Crap Rap so-called music. You have a choice people. Lsiten to "Jump" I Will Survive, and NIGHT FEVER by the Bee Gees belowm, as I was doing as I wrote this, and Night Fever came on the Radio.

Well that's all for now. "Keep oN Rockin" and don't listen to Shitty Alternative Rock or Crap Rap Hip Hop Music of the 21st Century, History's Worst Music ever.

BASTA !!!
