Greatest Rock Songs Ever

LED ZEPPELIN IV

STAIRWAY to HEAVEN

Stairway to Heaven by Power Rock Group LED ZEPPELIN is considered by many serous fans of Hard Rock Music to be the single greatest ROCK SONG of All-Time, and for good reason, just listen. Robert Plant sings beautifully on the song, and the guitar playing by Zeppelin guitarist (one of Rocks Greatest) Jimmy Page is a virtuoso's at its very best. The way the song starts slwoly and softly starts, then slowly builds to a climatic crescendo is purely one of Rocks Great moments. The Crescendo of which features one of Rock's Greates Licks of all-time as Jimmy Page belts it out, the drumbs come banging in, and Plant fisneshes it off. It's absolutely spectacular. "Long Live Rock & Roll," and I ish that Shitty Crap Rap "so-called music" would Please DIE !

START ME UP

The ROLLING STONES

From TATOO YOU

Yes, START ME UP by The ROLLING STONES, The World's Greatest Rock & Roll Band of all, is one of the World's Best recorded ROCK SONGS of ALL-TIME. The song has everything to make it a ROCK CLASSIC which it certainly is. The song just doesn't stop, from beginning to end the song ROCKS, with vocals by Rocks's Greatest Frontman MICK JAGGER, combined with Charlie Watts drum beats, and driving guitar licks & rythym by Rolling Stones guitarists Ron Wood and Keith Richards. We feel START ME UP by The Stones is one of the Two Greatest Rock N Roll songs of all-time, "it's Pure Rock & Roll" at its very best, and we Thank You MICK, KEEF, RONNY, and CHARLIE WATTS. Thank You simply for being The Rolling Stones, staying together, and making such wonderful music, we just can't thank you guys enough, you are Rock & Roll.

Yes folks, Stairway to Heaven (Led Zeppelin) and Start Me Up by the Rolling Stones. "The Greatest Rock & Roll Band of All-Time" get my vote for the 2 Greatest Songs in the History of Rock. They are Rock & Roll and they both Rock it out. Stairway starts off easy and melodic, builds up to a Rockin Crescendo, then comes back down again, while Start me Up by the Stones starts off Rockin, keeps Rockin and never stops Rockin, "Never Stop, Never Stop."

The beginning Chords from Keith Richards are 3 of Rocks most wonderful strums, "Der Ner Noot." The song drives with Keith letting loose some great chords to Woody's powerful licks in all the right spots, driving Bass from Bill Wyman throbs wonderful, Charlie supplies the beat with Mick's incomparable vocals. It's Rock & Roll artistry at it's very finest as only history and The World's Greatest Rock & Roll band, The Rolling Stones could do.
On the other hand, many claim Led Zepplin's "Stairway to Heaven" as Rock's single greatest song of all-time. I Love it, and it would be hard to argue with that, but hey folks, your talking to a hardcore Stones fan here, Start Me Up gets this guys vote.

Then again, these two songs wouldn't make others list for the top two. Thankfully, there are many great songs to come from the now defunct genre of Classic Rock. Can you believe it ? Nobody creates Rock anymore? It's mystifying to say the least, just a lot of Crap Upon Crap Upon More Crap these days. "It's a dam shame." But we always Thank God have the Stones, Zeppelin, The Allman Brothers, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, the Who and others. Their recorded music will always live on, and the Stones, The Allman Brothers, Steely Dan and a few others still play live in this New Year of 2012. Again, "Thank God."
